Jennifer L. Northcott is a graduate of J. Reuben Clark Law School. Ms. Northcott is a trained mediator and is court certified. She received her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Psychology and Political science from Brigham Young University. Ms. Northcott has years of experience in family law (divorce, custody, child abuse and neglect, guardianship, paternity and adoption), wills and estates, contracts, personal injury and mediation (small claims, housing, domestic and victim-offender). She interned with the Washington D.C. Corporation Counsel in the Child Abuse and Neglect division and has also worked for the University of Alberta's Population Research Lab as a consultant to various agencies of the Alberta government. She has collaborated on a number of articles and research that have appeared in several publications and also laid the foundation for some of Alberta's public policy in healthcare.
